MD_DA540 Dry Whey - Western U.S. Report 47 - Released on November 22, 2022 The bottom of the West dry whey price range shifted lower, while the top of the range and both ends of the mostly price series were unchanged. Market prices for dry whey have remained unchanged on the CME since November 10th. Contacts say current prices for dry whey have found a good balance for sellers and spot purchasers. Demand for dry whey is steady in both domestic and international markets. Spot purchasers say dry whey loads are available but are not excessive. Dry whey production is steady but limited as some drying schedules are focused on the production of higher whey protein concentrates and permeate.
