SV_LS145 Frankfort, KY Monday May 20, 2019 USDA-KY Dept of Ag Market News Kentucky Weekly Livestock Summary for the week of 13-18 May, 2019 Receipts: 16,075 Last Week 18,689 Last Year 18,653 Compared to last week feeder steers and heifers were unevenly steady with some instances of 2.00-3.00 lower, with the best demand noted for vaccinated cattle weaned a minimum of 30 days. Slaughter Cows and Bulls were mostly steady to 3.00 higher with moderate to good demand. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 37 percent and heifers, approximately 43 percent. Feeder cattle over 600 lbs totaled approximately 36 percent.
