Compared to last Tuesday feeder steers under 600 lbs sold steady to 2.00
lower with good demand for weaned packages; fleshy new crop calves facing
discounts. Feeder heifers sold mostly steady with good demand for weaned
packages. Slaughter cows sold steady and slaughter bulls sold 2.00 higher
with good demand.
13 replacement cattle, 79 slaughter cattle, 1281 feeder cattle.
Today's feeder supply included 29 percent steers, 07 percent bulls
and 56 percent heifers, with 58 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
