     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Rennet and acid casein prices are steady. Market conditions are steady.

     Lower milk production in the EU for the first half of 2019 has rippled through the dairy
     manufacturing chain, leaving less casein production than desired. Dairy World Marktwoche
     reports that January ± June 2019, casein imports to the EU increased 12 percent from the
     same period of 2018.

     New Zealand casein production is still in the early stages for the new season. Manufacturers
     expect to be increasing volumes in coming weeks.
