     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Report 29 - Released on July 18, 2019

     Rennet casein prices are mixed, weaker at the low end of the price range but up at the top.
     Acid casein prices firmed. Traders report good sales interest in Acid casein, even at the
     upper end of the price range. Buyers are closing sales with little resistance.

     European casein manufacturers report that demand is manageable. Ireland and France have sent
     more milk to casein production in recent weeks. New casein in Oceania is still hard to find
     so early in the season.
     Prices for: Spot Sales And Up to 3 Month Contracts, Free on Board - Warehouse, Non-
     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein

     Acid; Price Range - $/LB:                    3.1850-3.3000
     Rennet; Price Range - $/LB:                  3.0725-3.7800

     percent. The August contract, $3.7785, increased 3.9 percent.
