Slaughter cows were 2.00 to 7.00 higher and bulls were 5.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers were sharply lower with feeder bulls trending higher. Holstein steers were mostly steady today with higher quality steers offered. There was a cow/calf and bred cow special today with a good offering and active buyer participation. Feeder cattle consisted of 43% over 600 lbs. Slaughter cattle consisted of 6% steers, 2% heifers, 19% Holsteins, 18% cows, and 1% bulls. ***This report reflects the majority of cattle sold with a USDA grade, weight, and sex.
