     Skim Milk Powder - South America

     Skim milk production in South America is moving higher along with seasonal milk output.
     Buyers are becoming more active. Manufacturers have been able to move enough SMP stocks to
     keep prices and inventories relatively stable, but would like to see buyer interest pick up.
     Without greater sales opportunities, inventories will build further, and processors may be
     forced to lower pay prices to farmers to mitigate potential economic losses.
