MD_DA136 Skim Milk Powder - South America Report 21 - Released on May 23, 2019 In the Southern Cone of South America, skim milk powder (SMP) f.o.b. export prices are mixed on a narrower pricing range. Some export trades within Mercosur, particularly from Argentina/Uruguay to Brazil pulled down the top of the price range, while moderate trading from the Mercosur bloc to international markets pulled up the low-end price of the range. Meanwhile, condensed skim volumes clearing into dryers are improving. However, SMP inventories vary from plant to plant throughout the region.
