SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,468 lbs 115.39, heifers 1,317 lbs 115.90. Dressed delivered 
steers 940 lbs 181.89, heifers 851 lbs 182.24.  Weekly boxed beef 
cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 213.76, dn 0.10, and 
Select 198.44, up 0.10.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm.  Early weaned pigs and all 
feeder pigs 5.00 per head higher on light holiday week receipts. Demand 
moderate on moderate offerings. Receipts include 51% formulated prices. 
Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 47.82; 40 lbs cash basis 52.28.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.10 higher at 39.94.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 36.69, 450-499 lbs 46.52, and 500-549 lbs 
50.34.
   SC Grain on Monday. Trends omitted due to no reports issued while 
state offices were closed last week for Thanksgiving holidays. Corn: 
Elevator bids 3.55-3.84, processor bids 3.76-4.29. Soybeans: elevator 
bids 7.97-8.12, processor bid 8.62, and export at 8.62.  New Crop wheat: 
elevator bids 4.85-5.25. 
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was at 75.93.
