SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday:  Compared to last week all classes 
of feeder cattle were unevenly steady, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls 
about steady based on limited comparable sales.  Feeder Steers:  Medium 
and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 125.00-160.00, 500-600 lbs 142.00-158.00.  
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 175.50-160.00, 500-600 lbs 
135.00-147.50.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 130.00-
146.00, 500-600 lbs 129.00-137.50. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
60.00-65.00; Boners 85-85% lean 55.00-82.00; Lean 85-90% lean 52.00-64.00; 
Lean low dressing 30.00-48.00. Slaughter Bulls: 1375-2045 lbs 74.00-96.00. 
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium to large 1-2 915-1560 lbs young to middle age 
cows with 110-285 lbs calves 750.00-1300.00 per pair. Medium 1-2 1140 lbs 
young cows with 100 lbs calves one @ 1250.00 per pair. Small 1-2 665-855 lbs 
young to middle aged cows with 100-255 lbs calves 625.00-850.00 per pair.  
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.37 higher at 38.44.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 38.63; 450-500 lbs 45.30; 500-550 lbs 48.27. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  New Crop Corn was 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator 
bids 3.93-4.10, processor bids 3.91-4.50.  Soybeans were 2 to 3 cents lower;
elevator bids 8.23-8.68, processor bid 8.98, export bid 9.08. New Crop Wheat 
was 3 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.39-4.69. 
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.42 
lower at 71.05.
