Combined United States Fall Potato and Canadian Potato Production Up 2 Percent From 2014 This publication is the result of a joint effort by Statistics Canada and USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) to publish potato production for both countries in one report. United States 2015 fall potato production was released November 10, 2015 and Canadian production was released November 20, 2015. The 2015 fall potato production for the United States and Canada combined is estimated at 513 million cwt, up 2 percent from 2014. The United States fall potato production is estimated at 409 million cwt, 1 percent above 2014. Canada's potato growers harvested 105 million cwt, up 4 percent from 2014.
