Illinois Direct Slaughter Sows and Boars

Slaughter sow prices were weak, with moderate to good demand for heavy 
offerings.  

US 1-3 under 400 lbs.   13.00-17.00 
         400-500 lbs.   15.00-18.00 
         500-600 lbs.   17.00-20.00  
        Over 600 lbs.   19.00-22.00          

Boars: under 300 lbs.   15.00-20.00        
        over 300 lbs.   5.00-7.00

Barrows and gilts prices were firm, with moderate to good demand for 
moderate offerings. 

IL direct barrows and gilts: US 220-290 lbs. at 30.00 to 37.00.
