Florida Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Florida Livestock Auctions that were held Monday Jan 28, 2019

Cattle auctions at Arcadia (397) Columbia (291), Ocala (200) 
and Okeechobee (455). Receipts Monday 1,343, last week 1,963,
last year 2,240. Compared to one week ago, slaughter classes 
steady, feeder classes 1.00 to 3.00 higher.

Slaughter cows 23 percent; slaughter bulls 5 percent; and feeders 
72 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 
28 percent of the run; heifers 50 percent; bulls 11 percent and 
replacement cows 11 percent. Feeders over 600 lbs totaled around 
3 percent.
