Compared to one week earlier, slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher,
slaughter bulls steady, feeder steers and heifers steady, feeder
bulls lightly tested, steer calves steady to 2.00 lower, bull calves
lightly tested, heifer calves unevenly steady, replacement cows
steady.
Slaughter cows 18 percent; slaughter bulls 2 percent and feeders
80 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 33
percent of the run, heifers 45 percent, bulls 15 percent and
replacement cows 7 percent. Feeders over 600 lbs totaled around 14
percent.
