     Skim Milk Powder - Oceania

     Skim milk powder prices in Oceania firmed at the low end of the price range but remained
     steady at the top. Strong demand is helping maintain pricing impetus. Looking ahead several
     months, many buyers expect some price weakening. That is causing buyers with adequate
     supplies to hold back from finalizing contracts while they watch market developments.
     Prices for: Oceania, All First Sales, Free on Board - Port, Conventional, and Edible Skim
     Milk Powder

     This milk production season, July - December 2018 SMP exports from Australia, 76,993 MT,
     decreased 1.8 percent from year earlier, according to Dairy Australia. The value of
     Australian SMP exports increased 0.6 percent.

     At GDT event 230 on February 19, the SMP all contracts price, $2,580, increased 2.8
     percent. The March contract price, $2,680, decreased 0.7 percent.
