******Sheep and goat sale is on the third Friday of the month at 10:00 am******

   Due to bad weather and high demand the overall market was very good, feeder 
lambs were scarce; slaughter lambs sold 20.00 higher; slaughter ewes traded 
steady, slaughter rams sold steady.  Few slaughter billies sold 17.00 higher; 
few nannies sold 50.00 higher, slaughter kids sold 27.00 higher, fancy #1 sold 
60.00 higher, few feeder kids sold 30.00 higher and yearlings scarce; 
Demand very good and supply very light.  Sheep made up approximately 62 percent 
of the offering, 38 percent goats.

   Slaughter lambs:  Choice 1-2  42-67 lbs, 265.00-287.50; fancy pkg 60 lbs 
290.00; 80-85 lbs  220.00-245.00.  Choice 2  41-64 lbs 250.00-254.00.

   Slaughter ewes:  Utility and Good 2-3  few 155-265 lbs, 75.00-82.50.

   Slaughter rams:  130-215 lbs, 82.50-92.00.

   Kid:  Selection 1  40-75 lbs 275.00-287.50, fancy 50-60 lbs 325.00-390.00.
