SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 

Regional and California prices are steady. Asking prices for next week's
deliveries in the South Central and California regions are trending 23 
cent lower for larger sizes, and unchanged for medium sizes. All other 
regions are trending steady to lower. The undertone is lower to steady in
all regions. Offerings in California are light for Jumbo, fully adequate 
for other weights. Offerings in all other regions are moderate. Demand into 
retail and distributive channels range light to fairly good, but mostly moderate.
Supplies are available to instances heavy for current needs. Market activity is
slow to moderate. Breaking stock offerings are light to moderate; breaking schedules
are normal to at times extended. Spent type hen offerings are moderate for the 
light to moderate demand.
