SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are 2 cents lower for heavier weights, 
unchanged for Medium.  Regional and California prices are 
steady.  The undertone is steady to lower.  Offerings vary 
and are light on Jumbo in California, moderate to heavy on 
all other sizes. Offerings elsewhere are moderate to heavy. 
Demand ranges light to fairly good, generally moderate to 
fairly good.  Supplies are mixed, usually moderate to heavy 
for trading purposes.  Market activity is slow to moderate.  
Breaking stock supplies are fully sufficient; demand is light 
to moderate.  Spent hen offerings are adequate for normal to 
less than normal processing schedules.
