SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York prices are 3 cents higher for Medium and heavier weight
eggs.  California and regional prices are steady.  The undertone
is higher.  Supplies vary and are light to mostly moderate for 
needs.  The shell egg inventory is 1.9 percent lower when compared
to the previous week.  Offerings are light to moderate.  Demand
into all channels is moderate to good, best where features are in
place and school back in session.  Market activity is moderate to
active.  Breaking stock floor stocks are light to instances heavy,
usually moderate; breaking schedules are full-time to extended.  
The breaking stock inventory is down 3.7 percent from last week.  
Light type hen offerings slightly decline for the light to moderate
demand.
