SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


Regional and California prices are steady.  Asking prices for next 
week’s deliveries are trending unchanged for Jumbo, lower for the 
balance of sizes.  The undertone is steady to instances lower in 
California, mostly steady in the remaining regions.  Supplies are 
mixed, usually light to heavy for current needs.  Offerings range 
light to heavy, mostly moderate to instances heavy.  Demand into 
retail and food service channels is light to fairly good, mostly 
light to moderate.  Market activity is slow to moderate.  Breaking 
stock supplies are moderate to heavy; demand is moderate.  Spent 
hen offerings are light to moderate for normal to less than normal 
processing schedules.
