**NEXT WEEK IS THE LAST WEEK SOLA WILL HOLD SALES FOR 2018**
Compared to last week: Steers under 550 lbs and heifers under 500 lbs
3.00-6.00 higher, heavier weights 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand was good
for weaned calves, moderate for unweaned. Overall quality average
to attractive with many weaned calves offered. More cold, wet weather
is forecast for the next two days. Heifers made up 49 percent and
cattle over 600 lbs 29 percent of supply.
Slaughter cows and bulls mostly steady. Packer demand was fairly
good. A total of 333 cows and bulls sold with 41 percent going to
packers.
