Daily Northeast Region Eggs
Prices are 10 cents lower for Extra Large and Large, 11 cents lower for
Medium. The undertone is steady to weak. Supplies range light to heavy,
mostly moderate to heavy. Offerings are mostly moderate. Demand is light
to fairly good, usually moderate. Market activity is slow to moderate.
Eastern region breaking stock supplies are moderate for mostly full-time
breaking schedules. Light type hen offerings are sufficient for a light
to moderate at best demand.
PRICES TO RETAILERS, SALES TO VOLUME BUYERS, USDA GRADE A AND GRADE A,
WHITE EGGS IN CARTONS, CENTS PER DOZEN.
