Broiler/Fryer: Weekly Fryers Available for Marketing (Wed)

Based on the preliminary chick placements, the number of fryers
available for marketing during the week ending 19-Oct-19 is
estimated at 166.1 million head.  This compares to 166.2
million head the previous week and to 167.9 million head the
same week a year ago, when the slaughter was 163.7 million head
and the national weighted average price was 83.08 cents per pound.
