Broiler/Fryer: Weekly Fryers Available for Marketing (Wed)

Based on the preliminary chick placements, the number of fryers
available for marketing during the week ending 23-Mar-19 is
estimated at 161.8 million head.  This compares to **  **
million head the previous week and to 164.1 million head the
same week a year ago, when the slaughter was 165.5 million head
and the national weighted average price was 91.24 cents per pound.
