Cattle auctions at Ashburn (1304) Athens (503), Donalsonville (296), Jackson (235) Moultrie (570) and Washington (217). Receipts Wednesday 3,125 week ago 3,217 and year ago 3,629. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls steady to 3.00 higher, feeder steers and feeder heifers mostly steady, feeder bulls steady to 3.00 higher, steer calves, bull calves and heifer calves steady to 3.00 higher, replacement cows unevenly steady. Slaughter cows 14 percent; slaughter bulls 2 percent; and feeders 84 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 12 percent of the run; heifers 37 percent; bulls 38 percent and replacement cows 13 percent. Feeders over 600 lbs totaled around 6 percent.
