NEBRASKA DAILY DIRECT SLAUGHTER CATTLE - NEGOTIATED PURCHASES - Summary

On Tuesday negotiated cash trade was limited on light to moderate demand. A
very limited amount of early dressed purchases were reported at 167.00,
however not enough purchases for an adequate market test. In Nebraska last
week, live purchases traded mostly from 104.00-106.00 with dressed purchases
mostly from 170.00-175.00.
Domestic source only. Live sales based on net weights FOB the feedlot after a
3-4% shrink. Dressed sales based on hot carcass weights delivered to the plant.
