There was a good crowd on hand today for good strings and packages of weaned calves as well as bred heifers and cows. Demand was moderate to good throughout the sale with some bidding from the internet. Offerings today included 9 percent steers with 84 percent of the calves weighing over 600 lbs and 66 percent being harvest cows as well as bred heifers and cows. Crawfords next sale will be a feeder calf special March 8.
