This was Gordons first sale of the year so no trend will be given. 
There was a good crowd on hand today for good strings and packages of
mainly weaned home raised calves. Demand was moderate to good 
throughout the sale. Offerings today included 75 percent steers 
with 52 percent of the calves weighing over 600 lbs and 7 percent 
being slaughter cows and bulls. Gordons next sale will be a feeder 
calf special February 5.
