Cattle Receipts:  191        Three weeks ago: 451        Last year:  Holiday

No trends available due to the market being closed the previous two weeks for 
the holidays.  Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate.  
Offerings of cattle were light.  Cattle quality was average.

Slaughter cows made up 17 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent, 
and feeders 82 percent.  The feeder supply included 40 percent steers, 34 
percent heifers, and 26 percent bulls.  Near 9 percent of the run weighed over 
600 lbs.  (Figures in parentheses are weighted average weights and prices for 
each category)
