Mexican Origin steers and heifers traded 5.00 to 8.00 higher. The majority of the cattle trading continues to be cattle coming across the border, which is consistent with what we saw at this time a year ago. Trade activity and demand were good. Supply consisted of 67 percent steers and 33 percent heifers. Near 6 percent of the offerings weighed over 600 lbs. Note: Feeder cattle prices based on net weights FOB after a 3 percent pencil shrink or equivalent.
