Feeder cattle have no trend as this is the first reported sale of the new year and the last offering reported was over three weeks ago. Today’s offerings were calves and yearlings that were mostly all preconditioned with long weaning times. In feeder cattle, the run consisted of 56 percent steers, 44 percent heifers. Approximately 57 percent of the run weighed over 600 pounds. The total run consisted of 100 percent feeder cattle. The next available report will be Saturday, January 12, 2019.
