Toppenish Livestock Auction, Toppenish, WA for Thursday 3/14/2019

   Compared to last Thursday at the same market, stocker and feeder firm. Quality 
more attractive this week as the offerings where mostly hay wintered and offered in 
larger lots. Slaughter cows 7.00-8.00 lower as supply exceeds demand. Slaughter 
bulls steady. Trade active with good demand for all classes. Slaughter cows 66 
percent, slaughter bulls 1 percent, and feeders 33 percent of the supply. The 
feeder supply included 61 percent steers and 39 percent heifers. Near 55 percent of 
the run weighed over 600 lbs. 
      
   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1-2:  400-500 lbs 170.00-173.00;  500-600 lbs 
165.00-170.00;  500-600 lbs 152.00-155.00, Full;  600-700 lbs 148.50-149.50;  600-
700 lbs 157.50-159.00, Thin Fleshed;  700-800 lbs 134.00-145.00;  700-800 lbs 
146.50, Thin Fleshed;  800-900 lbs 130.00-133.75.  Large 1:  900-1000 lbs 129.50;  
1000-1100 lbs 117.50.  Small and Medium 2-3:  400-500 lbs 150.00.

   Feeder Holstein Steers:  Large 2-3:  200-300 lbs 170.00-220.00, Per Head.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1-2:  300-400 lbs 157.00;  400-500 lbs 154.00-
160.50;  500-600 lbs 148.00-157.00;  500-600 lbs 136.00, Full;  600-700 lbs 127.00-
