Toppenish Livestock Auction, Toppenish, WA for Thursday 11/29/2018

   Compared to 2 weeks ago Thursday at the same market, stocker and feeder cattle 
steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls 4.00-7.00 higher as supplies got 
cleaned up. Trade active with good demand for all classes. Very good demand for 
value added slaughter cows that are guaranteed grass fed. Slaughter cows 55 
percent, slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 35 percent of the supply. The 
feeder supply included 42 percent steers and 58 percent heifers. Near 70 percent of 
the run weighed over 600 lbs.       

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1-2:  400-500 lbs 165.00;  500-600 lbs 144.00-
146.00;  500-600 lbs 161.00, Thin Fleshed;  600-700 lbs 140.00-147.00, Calves;  
700-800 lbs 140.00-146.00, Calves;  800-900 lbs 138.00;  800-900 lbs 130.00, Full.  
Small and Medium 1-2:  300-400 lbs 150.00.

   Feeder Bulls:  Medium and Large 1-2:  500-600 lbs 120.00.

   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1-2:  400-500 lbs 139.00-145.00;  500-600 lbs 
137.00-145.00;  600-700 lbs 130.00-137.50, Calves;  700-800 lbs 129.00, Calves;  
800-900 lbs 128.50.  Large 1:  900-1000 lbs 87.50, Heiferettes;  1000-1100 lbs 
95.75, Heiferettes.  Large 2-3:  1200-1300 lbs 70.00.
