Western Iowa Precondition Sale:  Large crowd and trades were active 
today. Steer and heifer calves were steady to sharply higher, as 
calves were clean and good condition.  Receipts included 60 percent 
steer calves, 40 percent heifer calves.  Cattle over 600 pounds 
were 65 percent, 40 percent steers, 25 percent heifers.
