Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.

   Feedstuff prices were mostly higher for the week.  Demand light to moderate.  
Some mills and processors are shutdown due to flooding brought higher prices for 
those that were up and running.   Soybeans planting is 40 percent behind the 
previous 5-year average.

Soybean Meal, 48 percent traded 8.20-9.20 higher at 311.00 per ton. Soybean Hulls 
traded steady to 5.00 higher at 80.00 per ton.  Soybean Hulls Pelleted traded 
10.00-15.00 higher at 110.00 per ton.  41 Percent Cotton Seed Meal traded steady at
260.00 per ton. Corn Gluten Feed Pellets traded 5.00-10.00 higher from 170.00-
175.00 per ton.  Corn Gluten Meal 60 Percent traded not available per ton. Kansas
Interior Millfeeds Rail traded 5.00-7.00 higher from 57.00-75.00 per ton; Truck
was 5.00-10.00 higher from 85.00-95.00 per ton.  Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) 
Rail was not available per ton; Truck was not available per ton.  Meat and Bone Meal
was 5.00 lower at 205.00 per ton.  Feather Meal was steady from 330.00-340.00 per ton.
Yellow grease was not available per cwt.  Alfalfa Meal was steady from 261.00-275.00 
per ton; Sun-Cured 15 percent  was steady from 252.00-262.00 per ton; Alfalfa Center,
NE Pellets 17 pct was steady at 240.00 per ton.
