Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 01/28/2019
Receipts: 627 Two Weeks Ago: 645 Year Ago: 817
Compared to two weeks ago: Not enough comparable sales of steers or
heifers for a market trend. Trade activity was light to moderate on
fairy good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to firm.
Slaughter cows and bulls made up 4 percent, 1 percent replacements, and
95 percent feeders. Feeder supply consisted of 43 percent steers and
bulls, 57 percent heifers. Near 64 percent of the run weighed over 600
lbs.
