DOMESTIC MARKET HIGHLIGHTS

The market on frozen 8-16 lb. hens and 16-24 lb. toms is steady to firm.  Demand 
light to good, mostly moderate.  Frozen processor offerings of Grade A 8-16 lb. hens 
and 16-24 lb. tom light to moderate.  Frozen 2019 Grade A basted equivalent processor 
offering prices on a national basis for 8-16 lb. hens are 91.00-100.00 cents FOB and 
16-24 lb. toms 91.00-100.00 cents FOB for current deliveries.  Trading moderate on 
frozen basted equivalent hens and 16-24 lb. toms at 98 cents FOB for current 
shipments.   

The market on scapula is steady to firm, balance of white meat white trims steady to 
weak.  Demand light to moderate with scapula instances good.  Offerings of scapula 
light at best, balance of white meat and white trims moderate to moderately heavy.  
The market on Grade A and plant grade 4-8 lb. breasts steady to instances weak.  The 
market on institutional sized bone-in breasts is steady.  Demand light to moderate, 
mostly light.  Offerings of light to moderate with 4-8 lb. breasts instances 
moderately heavy.  The market on tom 2-joint wings steady to firm, mostly steady; tom 
necks steady; balance of tom bulk parts steady to instances weak.  The hen bulk parts 
market is steady to firm, mostly steady.  Demand light to moderate, instances good 
with tom 2-joint wings the most active.  Offerings mostly light to moderate with 
small hen 2-joint wings sometimes short of needs.  The thigh meat market is steady to 
barely steady.  Demand light.  Offerings light to moderate.  The mechanically 
separated turkey market is mostly steady.  Demand light to moderate.  Offerings 
generally moderate.  Trading slow to moderate.
