New Zealand production tends to be export focused, especially at this point in the milk production season. Current Australian cheese production is focused on the domestic market. Higher prices at the top of the price range reflect strong demand facing dwindling supplies for near term interest. Weaker low range pricing reflects less buying interest to cover later summer needs.
