The volume of cheddar currently being offered is flat. There is some hesitancy taking place, with reports of no buyer/seller activity in the second contract period. Cheese that is produced is primarily filling existing contracts, as uncommitted seasonal stocks are limited. Less than favorable milk production continues to impact the volume of cheese output. The current market has a fairly unsettled tone.
