MD_DA137 Whole Milk Powder - South America Report 25 - Released on June 20, 2019 Throughout the past two weeks, in the Southern Cone, whole milk powder (WMP) f.o.b. export prices dipped, following some descending WMP contract pricing movements in some offshore auctions. Prompted by higher farm milk production, condensed whole milk volumes are becoming more accessible for drying. In this way, the production of WMP is very active in many balancing plants, while WMP stocks continue building. The general demand for WMP is stable, but the current WMP supply overpasses the immediate needs from customers. Having said this, the WMP market tone is on a bearish position compared to a couple of weeks ago.
