     Fluid Milk and Cream - Eastern U.S.

     Report 20 - Released on May 15, 2019

     Northeast milk production is up this week. Nor'easter weather conditions have hit parts of
     the region, causing flooding and heavy winds. Market participants communicate little to no
     reports of current weather conditions distressing milk output. Class I sales are steady.
     Balancing operations are running full as milk is available for manufacturers' needs.    Mid-
     Atlantic milk production is flat to increasing. Cooler temperatures are lingering in parts
     of the region this week. Class II sales are up currently. Many facilities are reaching
     capacity. Southeast milk output is flat currently. Haulers' routes continue to be cut due to
     less milk. Class I sales are level and keeping up with bottlers' demands. There is little to
     no milk in manufacturing. Florida milk production is fairly flat. Rainy weather conditions
     are hitting the state this week. Class I sales are level at this time. The majority of "snow
     birds" have left Florida and many schools will be getting ready for summer break. Cream is
     available in the East. There are more spot offers on the market this week. Ice cream
     production is seasonally increasing and Class II operations are running near capacity.
     Multiples range 1.27-1.31 this trading week. Condensed skim markets are a bit sluggish at
     this time.
