National Sheep Summary for Wednesday, November 20, 2019

   Compared to last week at Sioux Falls, SD slaughter lambs 2.00 lower;
slaughter ewes had a higher undertone; feeder lambs not well tested.

Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 2-3 90-150 lbs:
  Sioux Falls:    wooled and shorn 105-150 lbs 144.00-150.00.
Slaughter Lambs:  Choice and Prime 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:    wooled and shorn 71 lbs 170.00. hair 80-90 lbs 153.00-
                  171.00.
Slaughter Ewes:
  Sioux Falls:    Good 3-4 (very fleshy) 85.00-90.00; Good 2-3 (fleshy)
                  61.00-77.00; Utility 1-2 (thin) 50.00-54.00; Cull 1
                  31.00-41.00.
Feeder Lambs:   Medium and Large 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:    40-50 lbs 185.00-195.00; 57 lbs 158.00; 67 lbs 157.00.
Replacement Ewes: Medium and Large 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:    young to middle age 200.00 per head; middle age 140.00
                  per head.

Sheep and lamb slaughter under federal inspection for the week to date
totaled 23,000 compared with 24,000 last week and 27,000 last year.
