SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (649), 
WINONA (184), PHILADELPHIA (311), and BROOKHAVEN (148) ON 
Tues Jan 15, 2019

Receipts:      1,292         Last Week:     1,383        Last Year:    913

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower 
and bulls sold 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 11 percent slaughter cows and 14percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 55 percent steers and 45 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 15 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
