SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (277), 
FOREST (592), MERIDIAN (409), MACON (320), HOUSTON (112), 
WEST POINT (427), AND GRENADA (85) ON Mon May 13, 2019.

Receipts:     2,222          Last Week:     3,120        Year:    2,844

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. 
The supply included 16 percent slaughter cows and 18 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 50 percent 
steers and 50 percent heifers, with an estimated 18 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
