Offerings of all sizes are moderate to heavy for current trade needs. Retail and foodservice demand is mixed, but mostly moderate to good entering the week. Floor stocks are balanced. Processing schedules are normal to reduced. Market activity is slow to moderate. In the parts structure, prices of bone-in breasts are steady to weak. Wings continue weak, and the remainder of parts are mostly firm. Offerings of boneless skinless breasts and tenders are tight and well cleared. Dark meat items and bone-in breasts are light to moderate. Wings are readily available with discounting noted, and all other parts are moderate. Market activity for parts is moderate to active. In production areas, live supplies are light to moderate. Weights are mixed, but noted as mostly desirable. The National Composite Weighted Average for 5/20/22 is 169.53 compared to 170.24 a week earlier, and 106.23 a year ago.
