Broiler/Fryer:  Daily National Broiler Market at-a-Glance


Whole broiler/fryer prices are firm with early negotiations trending higher
for next week. Supplies of all sizes are available to satisfy trade needs.
Retail and food service demand is mostly moderate. Floor stocks are adequate to 
instances short of needs. Market activity is moderate to good. In the parts 
structure, white items and dark items are steady to firm. Offerings of breast 
items, legs and thighs are balanced to tight. Wings are light to moderate and
clearing satisfactorily. In production areas, live supplies are moderate; weights
are mostly desirable.
