Broiler/Fryer:  Daily National Broiler Market at-a-Glance
                                                                          

Whole broiler/fryer prices are trending steady for most sizes. 
Offerings of all sizes are light to moderate in the Central 
region, moderate to heavy in the Eastern and Western regions. 
Retail and food service demand is light to moderate entering
the holiday weekend. Floor stocks are balanced. Market activity 
is light to moderate.  In the parts structure, the market tone 
on wings is holding firm and trending higher than yesterday. 
Tenders are steady to firm, while boneless skinless breast are 
steady to weak. The remainder of parts are steady. Offerings of 
wings are tight and in good balance. Dark meat items are mostly 
moderate, instances heavy in the Eastern region, with boneless 
skinless thighs experiencing a slight decline. Breast meat cuts 
are moderate to heavy with Jumbo sizes being slightly more available. 
Tenders are light to moderate. Market activity is slow to moderate. 
In production areas, live supplies are moderate. Weights are mixed 
but mostly desirable.
