Offerings of all sizes are limited, with continued labor/production issues noted. Retail and food service demand is moderate to good for beginning of the week business. Floor stocks are closely balanced to short. Market activity is moderate to active. In the parts structure, prices are firm for boneless skinless breasts, thigh meat, tenders, and wings. The remainder of parts range steady to firm. Offerings of boneless skinless breasts, wings, tenders, and thigh meat are tight to short, and moving at premium levels. Bone-in breasts and most dark meat cuts are light to moderate. Market activity for parts is moderate to active. In production areas, live supplies are light to moderate. Weights are mixed, but noted as mostly desirable. The National Composite Weighted Average for 5/14/21 is 105.56 compared to 104.49 a week earlier, and 77.45 a year ago.
