Broiler/Fryer:  Daily National Broiler Market at-a-Glance


Whole broiler/fryer prices are firm going into the weekend. Supplies of all sizes 
are light and held with confidence. Retail and food service demand is mostly 
moderate to good. Floor stocks are mostly adequate. Market activity is moderate 
to good. In the parts structure, white items and dark items are steady to firm. 
Offerings of tenders are tight with premiums noted. All other items are light to 
moderate and clearing satisfactorily. In production areas, live supplies are moderate; 
weights are mostly desirable.
