Broiler/Fryer:  Daily National Broiler Market at-a-Glance


Whole broiler/fryer prices are firm to higher. Retail and food service 
demand is to moderate to good. Floor stocks are adequate for current needs.
Market activity is moderate to good entering the extended holiday weekend. In 
the parts structure, white items are mostly steady. Whole legs and leg meat is 
firm while the remaining balance of dark items are at least steady. Offerings 
of breast items, legs and thighs are balanced to tight. Wings are light to 
moderate and clearing satisfactorily. In production areas, live supplies are 
moderate; weights are mostly desirable.
